Bean Mix

6 c dry beans - combine with 15-18 c water.  Boil 2 min and remove from heat.  Cover and stand for 1 hr.
10 c water
1 Tbls garlic, minced
2 Tbls salt
1/2 tsp pepper


After soaking beans initially, drain and rinse.    Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.   Allow to simmer for 2 hrs. until tender.   Let mixture cool.    Ladle into freezer containers and can be frozen for 6 mon.   Use for tacos, burritos, enchilada casserole, or refried beans.
