Baked Beans - Homemade

2 1/3 c dry beans -- soak in approx. 8 c water overnight
1/4 lb bacon - cooked & chopped
1/2 c molasses
1/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper


Rinse pre-soaked beans.   Add 8 c. water and bring to a boil.   Reduce to simmer and cook 1– 1 1/2 hrs. until beans are tender.   Drain beans, reserving 1 c. of liquid.
In a baking dish, combine remaining ingredients, including beans and 1 C. liquid.    Mix well.   Bake covered in a 300 deg. Oven for 2 1/2 hrs.
