Dry Apple Pie Fillings

2 c dried apples
2 Tbls cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2/3 c sugar
2 1/2 c water
2 Tbls lemon juice


Mix above ingredients in a saucepan.   Bring to a rolling boil, stirring occasionally.   Place in unbaked pie shell and cover with top.   Bake @ 425 deg for 40 min.
