Butterscotch Apple Dip

Butterscotch Apple Dip


One 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. white vinegar
1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon


In heavy saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, butterscotch chips and salt.  Cook and stir until smooth.  Remove from heat; stir in vinegar and cinnamon.  Serve warm with apple wedges or over ice cream. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container; can be made several weeks in advance.  I discovered that it makes an excellent dip for my Pecan Pie bites as well!!!
