Pantry Gingersnaps

3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Mix shortening, molasses, sugar and egg. Add Baking soda, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, salt-mix well. Add in flour, mixing well.

Roll into 1" balls and roll in white sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
