Peanut Butter Bar Recipe

Mix:
3/4 cups butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter

Add:
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour

Stir in:
1 1/2 cup whole-old fashioned oats (not quick)
Press into a large jelly roll baking sheet (like you'd use for Texas Sheet cake). Bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins.

Frost while hot with chocolate frosting:
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup evaporated milk
approx 6 cups powdered sugar

Mix well to frosting consistency--the icing will thicken as it cools on cake.
