Frozen Cranberry Banana Salad

LOVE this recipe from Nancy


1 (20oz) can pineapple tidbits
5 med bananas, halved lengthwise and sliced
1 (16 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 carton (12oz) cool whip, thawed
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Drain pineapple.  Add bananas to pineapple juice.  Combine cranberry sauce and sugar in large bowl.  Drain bananas and discard juice.  Add bananas to cranberry mixture.  Stir in cool whip and nuts.  Place in 9x13 pan and freeze.

Remove 15 mins before serving.
