2 cups flour
2 TBS sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
5 TBLS butter, softened
2/3 cup buttermilk
Mix dry ingredients. Use fork to cut-in butter. Add buttermilk. On a floured surface, flatten dough to about 1 inch thick. Cut out round biscuits (2" in diameter) and place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 450 for 10-12 mins.
