Cashew Macadamia Crunch

2 c chocolate chips
3/4 c cashews
3/4 c macadamia nuts
1/2 c butter
1/2 c sugar
2 Tbls corn syrup


Line 9” pan with foil.   Butter foil.   Cover bottom of pan with chocolate chips.
Combine nuts, butter, sugar and corn syrup in heavy saucepan.    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.    Increase heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly until mixture begins to cling together and turns golden brown.   Pour over chocolate chips in pan, spreading evenly.  Cool and refrigerate until firm.  Break into pieces.  SO YUMMY!!!  Can't stop eating!
