Caramel Krispy Treats

for use in rice-krispy molds-- of good just plain.

2 C brown sugar
1 c margarine or butter
1 3/4 c karo syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
rice krispies/popcorn/puffed rice


In a saucepan, bring the brown sugar, margarine, and Karo syrup to a boil.   Boil for 3 minutes and then remove from heat.   Add sweetened condensed milk and boil for an additional 3 min.    Pour over rice-krispies.    You can alter the amount of rice-krispies, depending on how carmelized that you want your mixture.   Put in molds or spread in pans.   Cool
** Can add 3 squares unsweeted chocolate before sweetened condensed milk.
