Berry French Toast

1/2 C flour
1 1/2 C half & half
1/4 C sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
6 eggs
1 loaf- french bread-- cut into 1" cubes
1 1/2 C frozen berries

In large bowl, beat flour, half&half, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and eggs until smooth.   Place cubed french bread in an even layer in bottom of greased 9x13 pan.   Sprinkle berries on top of bread.  Pour milk mixture over bread and berries.  Cover tightly and refrigerate over night.  Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, or until center comes clean with a knife.  Serve with buttermilk syrup, regular syrup, whip cream, etc.

This version below, I made without the berries, because we added fresh berries and buttermilk syrup to the top.    Tastes awesome!
