1- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
2 small pkg of lemon jello
1- 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 pint whipping cream, whipped
1- 11 oz can of mandarin oranges
1/2 c pecans
Low-Cal version:
1- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
2 small pkg of sugar-free jello (I prefer strawberry)
1- 8 oz pkg 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
1- 10 oz pkg of light cool whip
1- 11 oz can of mandarin oranges
1/2 c pecans
In a saucepan, combine pineapple and lemon jello. Bring to a boil, then chill until firm.
Blend cream cheese and whipping cream until fluffy. Add chilled jello mixture.
Stir in oranges. Press into pan. Sprinkle with pecans and chill. (Heidi Udall)
