Chocolate Eclair Cake

1 -5/8 oz package vanilla instant pudding
3 cups milk
1 8oz cool whip
1 box graham crackers (3 packages)

Chocolate topping:   Mix before layering dessert and allow to cool.
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
--Combine milk, cocoa, sugar, salt in saucepan and boil one minute.  Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.  Mix well and cool.  This will be spread over top of finished cake.

Dessert:
Mix pudding with milk and fold in cool whip.  Blend

Butter a 9x13 baking pan.  Place a layer of crackers on bottom and spread with 1/2 pudding mixture.  Place second layer of crackers on top of this and pour remainder of pudding over top.  Top off with a 3rd layer of crackers.  Spread cool chocolate topping over crackers.

Chill.
