Grandma Nancy Tracy's Homemade Bread

Grandma Nancy Tracy’s Homemade Bread
3 ½ cups warm water and 2 packages yeast (2 TBLS yeast)
3 TBLS sugar
Dissolve yeast in warm water, add sugar…..wait for it to bubble.
Then add:
1 TBLS salt
3 TBLS cooking oil
2 cups whole wheat flour
4-6 cups while flour (usually will use the 6 cups)
*If you only want to use white flour, add 3 eggs to batter

Mix in Kitchenaid or mix and then knead by hand on floured surface.  Knead as long as you can…..5 mins.  Put in bowl sprayed with cooking oil, cover with towel and let raise 1 hour (till double in size).  Punch down and separate into 3 loaves, placing in sprayed bread pans.  Let raise again (~1 hour). Bake in 350 deg oven for 30-35 mins.  Take out of oven, let sit for 3-5 mins and then remove from bread pan and let cool in wire rack.
