Cannoli Cheeseball

I've been finding a lot of yummy recipes to try--- so I made them all for Super Bowl Sunday--- not that we cared one bit about the Super Bowl--- but we do care about eating.    So-- as I get a minute I'll be posting all the awesome stuff we ate!!

This was soooo easy to make and it was really yummy without being too sweet.

  • 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup ricotta
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon allspice (I did not use allspice-- but did add 1 tsp of vanilla!)
  • 2½ cups mini chocolate chips, divided
  • Vanilla wafers, graham crackers, for serving
Instructions
  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine cream cheese, ricotta, powdered sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and 1 cup mini chocolate chips. Form the cheese mixture into a ball and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for an hour until set.
  2. Roll the cheeseball in remaining chocolate chips. Serve with vanilla wafers and graham crackers.
