1 1/2 lbs flank steak (I just used sirloin steak)
1/4 c cornstarch
2 Tbls Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c beef broth (I just dissolve a boullion cube into 1/2 c hot water)
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c chopped onion (still no onions here)
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
sesame seeds and green onions for garnish, if desired
1- Cut steak into thin strips. Put it into a ziploc bag with cornstarch. Shake until steak is coated.
2- Mix the remaining ingredients (minus garnish items) in crock pot. Stir until mixed. Add steak and mix until meat is coated in the sauce.
3- Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low 4-5 hours. Meat becomes tender and the sauce will thicken at the end. Serve over rice and vegetables...
