Homemade Ice Cream

4 eggs
1 can evaporated milk
2 c sugar
2 Tbls vanilla (or other flavoring choice)
2 c whipping cream
6 c milk
1/2 tsp salt


Beat eggs and blend in sugar.   Add remaining ingredients and stir well.   Pour into ice-cream cylinder and follow ice-cream maker’s directions.  This batch is for a large ice-cream maker.  (Royce Garner)

We LOVE to add crushed up oreos for cookies-n-cream ice-cream. (Caleb's favorite).   You can also add fresh fruit or any other favorite candy pieces.   Or just make the plain vanilla, and have toppings available to stir in as desired.
